"Eddie made our dream of living at Smith Mt. Lake come true in 2004-2005. Since we had built four homes before this one, we knew what we wanted and how we wanted it done. We started off with our “dream plan,” but due to its width on our lot, we decided not to build it. Eddie said he had a plan we might be able to redesign, and that’s what we did. We played with the layout and gave Eddie a sketch of an open floor plan radically different from the house he had previously built. He turned that into construction drawings and we were on our way. Whenever we had an idea to do something differently, he accommodated us. We communicated with Eddie throughout the planning and construction stages and ended up with a home that makes us happy every day. Everyone who comes to visit us comments on our beautiful home. An even greater compliment is that Eddie wants to show prospective customers our home.

While able to recommend designers and suppliers, Eddie allowed us to use the cabinetmaker (Dan DeNeal) and interior designer (Pat Cundiff) we wanted.  And we were able to keep close tabs on the progress of our home since we rented in Park Place during construction and could stop by every day. We enjoyed the process of getting to know the subs (and feeding them cookies), and we know you’ll be pleased with the work of Eddie’s bricklayer (Kevin), electrician (Dom), plumber (Roger), and trim carpenter (Ed).

Now that we are in our home, Eddie has not abandoned us. He responds to every phone call and gets workmen back out when we need something."
